About This Project

Design Concepts-

Our consultation is the time where we determine what it is you are looking to create.  So whether its  a beautiful new suit, a dress for work or something a little more intricate we are here to help. Designs are drawn, discussed, we then decide on the cloth, style ideas muted and agreed upon and then we head to the cutting room.

Each of our ensembles, are one offs, whether its a formal outfit for a wedding, business suit or an outfit for a first date! We love what we do, we adopt an honest open approach, and because of this we only dress you in clothes we would be proud to see you out on the town in.

We have created a number of outfits for a top US lawyer, she has to look smart but she also loves colour. This three piece, jacket, skirt and trouser outfit gives her three great looks in cobalt blue and means she can achieve her desired effect. We used Holland & Sherry Cashmere mix, its is a simply fabulous colour and cloth with which to work.

Pinstripes are such fun, we have seen really bold ones associated with the financial markets over the years and they come in and out of favour.  Many of my clients love me to co-ordinate their outfits with accessories and enjoys playing with fabric with colour accents. This gorgeous Loro Piana navy suit has lovely green pinstripe detail which we highlighted though the tie and pocket square.

A more formal ‘tails’ look for a wedding, is a truly classy though, many consider old fashioned and opt for a great three piece suit. A tail coat is still often required at the races. Dinner suits at Weddings is another great look, especially for black and white photographs.

Another of my Lady clients wanted to overhaul her wardrobe. Again we introduced colour. A stunning Holland & Sherry Merino wool in a Plum shimmer effect. We created, a Dress, Jacket, Trousers and Skirt so in effect multiple outfits. Giving our client a strong confident look for her senior role. We have since added a number of similar combinations in Jade, Orange and Pink. Who said the City is just for Blue and Grey!

The charcoal suit is a great staple of the wardrobe, we play around with lovely fabrics and tones against the skin and hair colour of our clients. We created this from the Holland & Sherry range for our client. Once of the most beautiful range of fabrics with which to work.

There is a whole host of fabrics from our Mills that when a warmer shirt tone is placed underneath, it makes the fabric appear more towards one or the other colours. Blue/grey is a great colour for less formal work situations, especially for “Lounge Suits”

Our client wanted to have some fun on his Wedding Day and we created a fabulous purple Mohair ensemble for the occasion. He looked wonderful, and accompanied it with a cane, a truly fabulous effect.

We just love a three piece and always suggest it. Not just as it changes the look of an outfit to make it look like a different suit but works on Ladies and Gentleman. Its always preferable to cut the fabric together so we encourage a three piece wherever possible. It lovely when a client says how much they enjoyed dressing their outfit up by wearing the waistcoat.
